Nashville, Tennessee
Southeast · Silver Trekker
Nashville was a detour Doug pitched as “just one night” that became three. They stayed at a full-hookup park with a shuttle to downtown—smart move for a compact trailer in Music City.
Broadway was loud, bright, and fun for exactly one evening. They preferred the Gulch murals, the Ryman tour, and a hot chicken place where Marla chose “medium” and still reached for tea.
Back at camp, neighbors hosted an impromptu jam session. Doug played harmonica badly; Marla laughed loudly. Someone said Des Moines probably has a scene too—they promised to look when they got home.
Silver Trekker verdict: Big-city stop with a campground shuttle—enjoy the music, protect your hearing, and try the biscuits.
